opening dec. 5: year of the snake invitational

BENSON - Ming Toy Gallery is pleased to host the Year of the Snake Invitational this December. The opening reception is Friday, Dec. 5, from 6:00 to 9:00pm at 6066 Maple Street in downtown Benson. (We're right between Au Courant and Legend Comics and Coffee.)

2025 is the Year of the Snake. In the Chinese zodiac, those born under this sign are often seen as enigmatic, intelligent and deeply intuitive with a natural ability to understand the world around them. However, like all zodiac signs, the Snake has both positive and negative aspects that shape the personality of those born under its influence.

Some “Snakes” are wise and intelligent, intuitive and perceptive, charming and diplomatic, resilient and adaptable. Others are cautious and secretive, jealous and possessive, overly analytical, aloof and detached.

This exhibition showcases the work of a group of artists who have interpreted this theme. As of “press time,” they are:

  • Donovan Beery
